Dr. Wallin is a Professor in the Department of Physics and Astronomy at Middle Tennessee State University, where he directs the Interdisciplinary Ph.D. Program in Computational and Data Science. His research spans computational astrophysics, neural networks for image identification, and mixed reality systems in STEM education. He earned his Ph.D. in Astrophysics from Iowa State University in 1989.
